Job Overview:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Competitive & Market Intelligence leader. You will be responsible for researching and analyzing market trends in the physical security space, uncovering competitor strategies, creating competitive product comparisons, and identifying industry developments to help inform strategic decision-making within the organization. This role involves crafting actionable insights from market and competitor analysis to inform decision-making. As we continue to scale, you can build our CI/MI program and team from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute competitive and market intelligence strategy.
- Provide insights to executives aligned with organizational goals.
Analysis:
- Conduct competitor SWOT analysis and monitor market trends.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Research:
- Gather and interpret market data to identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for strategic alignment.
Intelligence Gathering:
- Establish processes for collecting and synthesizing intelligence.
- Stay updated on industry news and emerging technologies.
Reporting and Presentation:
- Deliver comprehensive reports and executive briefings.
- Develop metrics to measure impact on business performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in competitive intelligence or market research.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Leadership experience with proficiency in relevant tools (Klue, Crayon, etc.)
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends.
